Planning permission

The Head of Property has the specific power to make applications for planning permission as appropriate for the proper management of the council's property interests. This is in accordance with Section L Schedule Part (5) C (g) of the Constitution.

Section 106 agreements

A Section 106 Agreement may be required as a pre-condition to the grant of planning permission for land owned and being disposed of by the county council.

The specific power to negotiate and enter into these agreements is delegated to the Head of Property, in accordance with Section L Schedule Part (5) C (h) of the Constitution.
